Description
Working with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila the Post Commander and Senior Vice Commander revised and replaced a memorial plaque to World War II Czechoslovakian Heroes. Seven additional names were added to the original seven names engraved on the Czech marker at the Capas Nation Shrine. These heroes fought the Battle of Bataan endured the Bataan Death March were imprisoned and died at Camp O’Donnell POW Camp at the hands of the Imperial Japanese Force in WWII.
