Description
On June 28th The VFW Troop 13G & Pack 33 will be providing a Recognition Ceremony for Lillian Vogel for her making Eagle Scout. That type of ceremony will be instead of a Court of Honor as the expected final certificates will not be back from national for about 4 to 7 weeks. VFW is planned a VFW table at the event. Lots of pictures were planned to happen. Maybe over 70 pictures that I know of that Angela (of the ASMs & Myself) took. It will be at the Church on CFAY Yokosuka. It was definitely an important even as Lillian Vogel was the first female Eagle Scout in All of BSA Asia-East Mainland Japan Kanto Plains CFAY Yokosuka and Troop 13G. It is a monumental occasion. Members of Pack 33 Troop 35 and Troop 13G were present. The new Senior District Executive for Asia-East (Aaron Rhoads) was present and gave a small presentation. VFW 1054 CDR (Murray) made a speech & presentation. VFW 1054 Chaplin (Mrs. Johnston) did a prayer. VFW 1054 JVC (Will Emery) was present. Two VFW 1054 members (Chad & myself) were present. There were at least 5 to 7 VFW Post 1054 members present. (I was there supporting the event from 1600 to 1800)(I drove from Zushi to CFAY Yokosuka & back).
